The client, an organization with 25 users, needed a solution to retain user profiles across sessions while migrating from an on-premise Remote Desktop environment to Azure Virtual Desktop. Frequent logins and profile resets were affecting productivity, and the client wanted a streamlined user experience in the cloud.
The primary challenge was ensuring that users’ settings, preferences, and files were retained across each session. Without proper profile management, users would experience delays, frustration, and lost productivity. FSLogix was selected to manage user profile disks, but the configuration needed to be fine-tuned to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
